Heineken has teamed up with famous shoe designer Dominic Cambrione, commonly known as The Shoe Surgeon, to create Heinekicks, limited-edition sneakers packed with beer. The cooperation follows the release of Heineken Silver, which aims to highlight the brand’s new smooth, easy-to-drink beer developed for a new generation of drinkers. The shoes “that will have you walking on beer” not only represent but also carry the renowned Heineken brand, with the company’s trademark red, green, and silver, and a sole injected with the Heineken Silver brew.

To commemorate the launch of Heineken’s new unique Heineken Silver beer, the Dutch beer brewery gives complete control to Dominic ‘The Shoe Surgeon’ Cambrione, the acclaimed designer behind some of the most high-profile bespoke sneakers worn by celebrities such as LeBron James, DJ Khaled, and Drake. With his current proposal, the outcome is a first-of-its-kind manifestation of Heineken’s brand in a pair of sneakers. Each limited-edition pair of Heinekicks features a sleek green lenticular upper with silver and red accents, mirroring their iconic colorway. The sneakers, designed in collaboration with Le Pub and BBH, include a retractable bottle opener incorporated into the tongue.

Only 32 pairs of Heinekicks are produced worldwide. From 1 August 2022, Heinekicks will be on exhibit in Singapore at the Limited Edition Vault at 313@Somerset as part of Project Future organized by Culture Cartel x 2MR Labs.

Built into the tongue is a removable metal bottle opener, a handy feature when it’s time to enjoy a Heineken Silver.
