SA Menswear Week 2023 will officially form the main schedule of the Week of Fashion initiative from the Cape Town Fashion Council, making it a big year in South African fashion. The line-up in 2022 was the largest showcasing of designers on a single schedule, and 2023 builds on this with new shows, presentation spaces, showrooms, and partners joining to improve designer promotion as well as guest experience!

The best menswear from South Africa and the rest of the continent will continue to be featured at SA MENSWEAR WEEK, which will also continue to set the standard for cutting-edge, distinctive, and novel showcasing techniques. SAMW has a reputation for being informal, designer-focused, and always having an underground feel.
LIST OF 2023 FASHION WEEK SOUTH AFRICA DESIGNER
The 3RD season of WOF: WOMENSWEAR COLLECTIONS features the largest on-schedule calendar of the top womenswear ready-to-wear collections in Southern Africa. These collections, which span from streetwear to evening wear and are presented over 3 days in more than 14 shows with almost 50 designers, are all the big names and not to be missed.
The 3RD edition of GRAD WEEK presented by CTFC features the sexiest graduate collections from all of South Africa’s fashion design schools. Shows and presentations build on the GRAD (Graduate Recruitment and Development) WEEK philosophy of promoting and developing the young designers and placing them within the industry to further expand their careers.
In a carefully curated and planned environment that runs concurrently with the shows on the schedule, WOF: SHOWROOMS is the platform’s first attempt to connect consumers with designers. created with a direct-to-consumer market setup to introduce designers and brands to consumers as well as buyers, who are sadly very few in South Africa. A map of all the fashion designer stores in and around Cape Town, similar to other major cities around the world that support and promote local design, is called the WEEK OF FASHION RETAIL MAP. A journey of exploration to support local design will be created by placing the ongoing expansion of amazing designer shops and studios on a digital map and printing it at significant tourist hotspots. taking off at WOF/ SAMW in March this initiative will hopefully spread to other South African cities soon.
The first day of February will see the start of media registration for all attendees. There will be a limited number of free public tickets available on a first come, first serve basis. Public access to the presentations and talks as well as the WOF: SHOWROOMS will be free throughout the event. Registration will be required beginning on March 1.
